BULBS FOR CLINTON BUTTERFLY GARDEN

MEMBERS SORTED THE BULBS AND PLACED THEM IN BAGS 

 

Country Garden Club members prior to sorting and packaging 1,770 bulbs in preparation for planting at Water Street Park in the Town of Clinton. From left Kathy Madden, Christine Yates, Maryann Aldana, Buel Ecker, Judith Serafin, Joice Lindabery and Dorothy Aquila. Their garden club will help Clinton Girl Scouts and other volunteers do the planting. The bulbs were purchased with part of a $10,000 grant from Sustainable Jersey and awarded to the Town for the purpose of “Turning the Town of Clinton into a Habitat for Birds, Butterflies, and other Pollinators.
